This page explains what data the Wafra website collects and how we use and protect it.
Orders
When you order from the store we keep your name, phone number and email address, the address and emirate if you choose delivery, the products and quantities, the payment method and any note you write. We use them to confirm, pack and deliver the order, and share only your name, address and phone number with the delivery driver. Nothing is paid on the website; you pay on delivery, in cash or by card.
Accounts and the contact form
- Customer accounts: name, email address, password (stored encrypted), addresses and order history.
- The contact form: your name, email address, subject and message, kept in the website’s dashboard.
- WhatsApp messages to confirm an order or a delivery slot are also covered by WhatsApp’s own privacy policy.
Cookies and what your browser keeps
We use only the cookies we need: for signing in, for keeping your cart during your visit and for protecting forms from automated messages. Your browser also keeps a copy of the cart to speed pages up. We use no tracking or advertising tools, and you can clear all of this by deleting this site’s data in your browser.
Retention and your rights
Orders are kept for five years for accounting, as the law requires, and contact messages for twelve months. You can ask for a copy of your data, its correction or the deletion of your account at any time from the contact page, and we reply within thirty days.
